Harmel Rayat

President and CEO

While still in his early twenties, Harmel went to work at a brokerage firm, where he gained valuable experience and discovered a keen talent for identifying young companies with strong potential.

Since the 1990s, Harmel has provided strategic capital and managerial guidance to a number of entities, including a news distribution company that became an early leader in its field, several biotech and alternative energy start-ups and most recently, through Talia Jevan Properties, Inc., has presided over the inception and development of the Company’s growing commercial real estate portfolio in Canada and the US.

Jeet Sidhu

Senior Vice-President

Jeet brings nearly 20 years of valuable banking, corporate finance, acquisitions, mergers, operations and management experience to Talia Jevan Properties, which he joined in 2006 as part of the founding management team.

Prior to Talia Jevan Properties, Jeet held senior executive positions with a private investment firm where he provided management leadership, operations support, legal compliance, and financial regulatory guidance to portfolio companies.

Steve Yan-Klassen

Chief Financial Officer

Steve is a CPA, CMA whose background includes over 15 years of public practice experience in various Chartered Accountant firms including five years as a senior manager at BDO Canada LLP’s Vancouver, BC office. Steve has acted as controller for numerous companies in a broad range of industries from real estate to mining and professional services, and assisted CFO’s and executives in all aspects of their operations.

His achievements include assisting real estate trusts with wind-ups and distributions; mortgage investment corporations with valuations analysis and reporting; and private companies and charities with assurance work including tax and information returns. He has assisted CFO’s and executives with complex deferred income tax calculations and models involving multiple tax jurisdictions and foreign currency issues. Over the past two years, he participated in significantly increasing his previous firm’s number of clients.

Larry Swift

Operations Manager

Before joining Talia Jevan Properties, Larry spent 25 years gaining valuable experience in all aspects of real estate, including commercial and residential construction as well as facilities and property management with nationally respected real estate firms.

Among recent notable achievements were the complete renovation of a 270,000 square foot regional shopping center at a cost of $12 million, the relocation of a 30,000 square foot environmental lab and the construction of Talia Jevan Properties Corporate head offices in the Kalen Capital Building, during which time Larry was asked to join the Company as its Operations Manager.

Daniell Thompson

Director of Business

Daniell began her commercial real estate career as an Area Sales and Marketing Director for one of the largest locally owned serviced office companies in the state of Arizona. During her tenure, she was promoted to Director of Sales and assumed senior operational responsibilities for 9 different property locations with a combined square footage of almost 300,000 square feet until 2007, where she was instrumental in the sale of this company to Regus, the largest global executive suite company.

Daniell then joined Coldwell Banker Commercial, she has been involved in wide range of commercial real estate leasing, investment sales, portfolio management and acquisitions. Daniell is a valuable asset to the Talia Jevan Properties team as Director of Business. Daniell is responsible for all financial and managerial aspects of the executive office complex which includes over 100 tenants.

Christine Juby

Property Manager

Christine spent over ten years in the investment and insurance industry Talia Jevan Properties. As she relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, she joined US West Telecommunications as a Financial Analyst.  Christine has spent the last six years managing the Chauncey Building in addition to starting and operating North Scottsdale Executive Suites, which is one of the tenants of the Chauncey Building. Her roles include budgeting, accounting and administration for several businesses.

Jennifer Boughey

Director of Operations

Jennifer has more than 25 years of hospitality and client service experience. Jennifer started her career in the hotel industry where she excelled worked for European styled boutique hotels & world renowned resorts which then lead her career to many years with the largest cruise line in the world. Jennifer then decided to move her sea legs to land where she worked for the largest global executive office company for nine years.

Her experience brings a wealth of knowledge in many fields including; accounting, operations, sales and marketing. She has implemented policies, processes and procedures that have made many properties successful.

Maili Capaldo

Administrative Officer

Before joining Talia Jevan Properties, Maili worked in a high volume environment in the customer service industry. With an extensive background in office administration and possessing effective organizational skills, Maili brings to Talia Jevan Properties a wealth of experience in administrative management.

Maili’s duties include providing comprehensive administrative services, including budget and financial management; contract administration; general administrative services; industry research and human resources services. Maili oversees the internal management operations as well as the administrative affairs of Talia Jevan Properties and its affiliated companies in both Canada and the United States.

Alexa Manzano

Client Services Coordinator

Alexa serves as the firm’s Client Services Coordinator. Alexa focus is creatively assisting both company and clients in the planning and execution of results-oriented strategies while maintaining close client relationships to be certain their goals are met. Alexa operates within all of Talia Jevan's business verticals to ensure the highest level of service and delivery is maintained.
